This is a short film I made for my Intro to Moviemaking course at Muhlenberg College about a young woman discovering a love of cooking, loosely inspired by the movie Ratatouille.
This was written, shot, directed, and edited by me, and I also star in it. I also did all sound design. I went nearly insane doing all this at once but at least I got a good grade! Thank gosh for tripods!
The course specifications about length and the types of shots included were somewhat strict, and all non-soundtrack sound is dubbed over using Foley techniques.
After the shoot, I served the carbonara at a Meryl Streep themed party, with the name Julie & Julia Carbonara, because (like in Julie & Julia) I had a minor breakdown while making it.
